Me and Gwen met in the third grade at Vine Street School. And we have been friends up until the day the Lord called her home. Gwen and myself share many memories, but she was truly my friend and the Godmother mother of my son oldest son Taris.

Gwen gave her life to the Lord and served Him with her whole heart. I truly watched the strength that she possessed during her life. When I went to encourage her with a word of cheer, she always ended up encouraging me.

She left behind three beautiful daughters and some grand children. I still think about her time to time and I remember and miss some of our late night conversations that we used have until the wee hours in the morning when we had to get up and go to work.

I will always love Gwen for who she was and who she became in the Lord. She will always be my friend and I love her for her friendship unto me and my family.

God Bless

Reading the comment from Tamara was so heart felt. I didn't really know Gwen that well but I'm glad to know that she found Jesus and is at peace with our Lord and Savior. RIP Gwen - you'll be missed.

I knew Gwen and her family for quite sometime. As a matter of fact we used to do fashion shows together, party together, and ended up in church. What a life. I heard that she courageously fought her battle with cancer, and left us with much dignity. The good result is that she was saved and knew Jesus as her own. I'll always have great memories of Gwen. See you in glory!!!
