Did not know that Herbie has gone on to be with the Lord. He was a very funny guy in HS always telling jokes and making people laugh. His spirit is truly missed already.

I remember when I heard that Herbie had passed. I thought 'wow he's too young' then all the memories of him flooded my mind. Him calling me skinny....LOL He will truly be missed - Love you Herbie RIP

What can you say about Herbie!!! Just a fun-loving person who was good for a laugh. We sang in the church choir for many years and had grown up together all through our school years. Herbie will be greatly missed. My fondest memorie of high school with Herbie was the time we were on the breezeway outside the cafeteria at lunch getting high, and we ended up getting into a fist fight. I got sent to Mr. McKinley's office, but fortunately I had a gift of gab and was able to talk myself out of detention and suspension. Herbie rest in the Lord. We'll see in in glory.

I couldn’t believe my eyes when I read about Herbie passing a few years back in the Hartford Courant. Herbie always laughed and joked around with mostly everyone in the homeroom. Herbie and I were homeroom classmates for four years at Weaver High however, his older brother and my older brother were best friends. I remember saying to Herbie on several occasions in high school, “Stop Herbie! You’re getting on my last nerve!” Herbie responded, “Why are you so mean, girl!? And he laughed.”
